Who we are looking for
A motivated Storage and Server Systems Engineer with solid skills in managing server infrastructure and storage systems, capable of ensuring performance, security and business continuity. We are looking for a precise, results-oriented person with strong problem solving skills.
Main responsibilities
- Managing, configuring and maintaining physical and virtual servers (Windows/Linux)
- Administering virtualized environments (VMware, Hyper-V or equivalent)
- Managing enterprise storage systems (SAN, NAS, iSCSI, Fibre Channel)
- Monitoring performance, capacity and integrity of storage systems and servers
- Performing backups, restore and disaster recovery in accordance with corporate policies
- Analyzing and resolving second/third level infrastructure issues
- Collaborating with network and security teams on cross-cutting infrastructure projects
- Drafting and updating technical reference documentation
Requirements
- At least 4 years' experience in system administrator or server and storage systems roles
- Excellent knowledge of Windows Server and Linux operating systems
- Expertise in managing virtualized environments (VMware, Hyper-V)
- Knowledge of SAN/NAS technologies, iSCSI protocols , NFS, SMB/CIFS
- Experience in backup and disaster recovery management (Veeam, Commvault, etc.)
- Knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy
- Ability to document processes and procedures in a clear and structured way
- Excellent knowledge of Italian language
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team
Nice to have
- Professional certifications (VMware VCP, Microsoft MCSA/MCSE, NetApp, Dell EMC, etc.)
- Experience with hybrid cloud environments (Azure, AWS, etc.)
- Familiarity with monitoring and automation tools (Zabbix, Ansible, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of networking

Indicative RAL range: 30-35K
